Southern Cross has a wide variety of Nationally accredited Certificate II and III Courses on offer on-site.
Full-time students have the opportunity to choose 2 or 3 courses depending on their pattern of study. All courses are offered to Year 11 & 12 (Stage 6) students and run across two years.
Depending on student interests, the College also offers a choice of career pathways, Stage 6 Industry (HSC Plus) Pathway or Academic (ATAR) Pathway. These are in addition to Certificate I Courses in Automotive, Business, Construction, Hospitality and Retail offered to students in Year 9 & 10 (Stage 5).
Students who complete a Stage 5 course in Year 9 will have the choice in Year 10 to complete either a different Certificate I Course or an early commencement in Stage 6 Certificate II or III course.
Changes to ATAR eligibility rules for the 2023 Year 10 Cohort means that
Students can study more VET Framework course and have them contribute to their ATAR
