Statement of Attainment towards CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry (SBA)
This qualification aims to provide students with the foundation knowledge and elementary skills required to work in the building and associated trades. There are a number of courses available to students based on whether they are completing a school-based Apprenticeship or Traineeship. The qualification is recognised as an entry-level qualification for employment in the construction industry and provides opportunities to:
- Expand knowledge of the building sector and appreciate sustainable work practices
- Use a range of standard carpentry and construction materials and tools
- Develop practical skills in brick and blocklaying, formwork and framing
- Prepare sites for construction and following standard clean up procedures
- Read and interpret plans, follow building specifications and accurately apply measurements and calculations.
