This course is ideal for students looking to begin a career within the Automotive industry; or to gain some basic skills and find out what it is like to work as a Mechanic before looking for an apprenticeship.

In this course, students have the opportunity to learn basic skills in vehicle servicing and maintenance. Students will also learn how to communicate effectively in an Automotive workplace; follow work, health and safety working practices; and resolve routine problems, as well as identify mechanical systems and components, and how to use and maintain tools and equipment in an automotive workplace.
