Southern Cross Catholic College is a dynamic co‑educational secondary College for students in Years 10 to 12, located in Burwood. We welcome students from across the greater Sydney region who are seeking to engage in a unique, future‑focused senior secondary experience. Nationally recognised for innovation, the College has earned a strong reputation for delivering highly personalised learning through bespoke courses and vocational pathways that respond to the needs of today’s young people and tomorrow’s workforce.

Our senior secondary model is intentionally different. With approximately thirty Certificate II and III nationally recognised courses available, including Construction, Automotive, Furniture Making, Hairdressing, Beauty, Hospitality, Fitness and Human Services, students are empowered to design a learning pathway aligned to their interests, strengths and aspirations. Learning is delivered by expert industry facilitators who bring real‑world experience into the classroom and ensure programs remain authentic, current and industry aligned.

A distinctive feature of Southern Cross Catholic College is our unique timetable. Senior students attend school four days per week within an extended school day model, allowing flexibility for part‑time work, structured workplace learning and industry engagement. Our extensive work placement program enables students to gain valuable on‑the‑job experience while completing their senior studies, strengthening employability skills and confidence.
