While many students enrol full time at Southern Cross Catholic College Burwood (SCCC), our VET courses are offered in block sessions every week (so students from other schools can attend part-time as external students).

Students who wish to attend these courses at SCCC will be required to complete an TCVET Expression of Interest form and discuss with their VET coordinator or Career Advisor at their home school. Permission must be obtained from a student’s home school.

ViVA! Program Enrolments

Southern Cross is a proud member of Sydney Catholic Schools enabling our students to apply for the highly regarded ViVA! Program. Further details on this performing arts opportunity can be found linked.

Students who are interested in taking part in this program will need to carry out the following steps.

  1. Discuss this application with their school and get approval to apply.

  2. Parents are required to complete the application form including uploading an audition video via flexischools. This will include an audition video upload of their child in their preferred performance area.

  3. If the student makes it through this round, they will be required to attend an in person audition in Term 3.

  4. In Term 4, they will be notified of their success and the dates and details of each class for 2027.

In order for parents to find the tile associated with ViVA! 2027 on flexischools, they will need to ensure they have a flexischools account with their child registered and that the details (including the year group of the child) has been updated to reflect their current year group.
